Elijah: Lessons on Leaning on God

Elijah was a man who experienced incredible highs and devastating lows. Through it all, God taught him what it means to trust him, depend on him and keep turning to him in prayer.

Join us as we journey through Elijah’s story and discover what his life can teach us about leaning on God when life is uncertain, difficult and beyond our control.

“Elijah was a human being, even as we are… He prayed earnestly…”

Week of Prayer

7–13 September | Praying together, morning and evening

Join us for a special Week of Prayer as we gather together in church each day to pray, using the rich prayer traditions of our Anglican heritage.

Throughout the week, we’ll pray Morning and Evening Prayer from the Book of Common Prayer (BCP) and the Australian Anglican Prayer Book (AAPB), alternating between 6am and 9am starts.

Come and begin or end your day with God’s people, grounding ourselves in Scripture, prayer and the rhythms of Anglican worship.

Come and pray. Come and be renewed. Come and lean on God together.

Arvo Club and Leura Youth

Every Friday Arvo during term our primary and high school students gather at church together to play some games, eat some food and open God’s word together in a welcoming community.

Friday-Arvo Club ( K-Yr 6, 3:15-5pm)

Sunday- Leura Youth (Yr 7-12, 4:30-5:30 with dinner).

“As a newcomer at St Albans we have felt so loved and embraced by the whole church community. My children often ask in the week “is it Kids Church day yet?” because they love coming! Joining a small group has blessed me with great friends to do life with.” Rachel
